W\u00e4hrend man bei Portmagee \u00fcber eine Br\u00fccke auf das Festland gelangt, verbindet in King&#8217;s Town eine nur wenige Hundert Meter lange F\u00e4hrlinie die Insel mit dem nahen Cahersiveen. In den Sommermonaten mag hier viel los sein; der irische Fr\u00fchling des Jahres 2022 h\u00fcllte King&#8217;s Town und seine Umgebung jedoch in eine graue und diesige Kulisse und lie\u00df sich kaum anmerken, dass bei warmen Temperaturen und Sonnenschein Pubs und Cafes, B\u00fcrgergarten und Promenade, Hafen und Str\u00e4nde voll mit Menschen sind.
